Grandma Bevell's Haven

This year we enjoyed being at Grandma Bevell's for Thanksgiving, besides great company and the wonderfully satisfying endless amounts of food, we got to enjoy her beautiful blooming yard.  I don't know how she does it all on her own.   I must say, Grandma has a gift for making things look beautiful.  She loves flowers and has planted them abundantly in her acre yard and they thrive this time of year when the weather is mild in Mesa.  Amy and I had so much fun just taking pictures of all the beauty and things that have been their since we were kids.  Okay, so we went a little photo crazy...

..i remember playing in this playhouse when I was a little girl.

..grandma's vintage bike...we were crazy enough to try riding it together, me, Amy and Bobbi.

A new tradition!

Baylee and Kami were set with full backpacking getup, and headed out with dad, papa, cousins and uncle Dallan for high adventure overnight backpacking trip in the Superstition Mtns.  Okay, it was only 2 miles but thats a lot for little legs and full backpacks.  They loved it! Papa even packed in eggs and sausage for a gourmet breakfast.  Thanks to "Scoutmaster" dave, he was the only one who was prepared with the cookstove.  Everyone's response in coming home was "we got to do that again!"

Show Girls!

I never thought I would have daughters that love to be on stage.  I think they got that from their dad, because I remember being scared to death to do anything in front of crowds at that age. Their is one thing my girls don't lack and that is confidence.  Kami took ballet/tap this semester and Baylee took music theatre.  Both were totally in their element and so cute to watch perform.  Kami of course love the costume and boy does those girly moves come natural to her.  Baylee new all the songs and skits for her show and really loved the acting part of it.   I was so proud of them for trying their best.  Lydia can hardly wait tell its her turn next semester to take a dance class.

I love Primary!

I just had to post these picture that I took of our primary this year.  I have now served for a year and half as primary president and I have really learned to love these kiddos.  We have over 100 kids in the primary and they are fun to be with each Sunday.  It's true that you learn to love those you serve.  Though, at times my calling really seems overwhelming, I have felt the Lord inspire me and strengthen me, as well as, given me great people to work with.  I am so grateful for the Lord's blessings in my life.

Time Out For Women...freedom!

A great girl getaway! Me, my sister Amy, and my sister-in-law Bobbie all got to go to Timeout for Women together.  It really has been a long time since we 3 have done something fun with just us.  Great conversation, an inspirational event and no kids...this made for a relaxing weekend together.  We of course had to fit in our shopping, garage selling, movie watching, and restaurant eating time together also.  I love being with my sister's.  A rare momentous occasion we only got two random pictures of.
