A Day at the Park

During Thanksgiving in Mesa we so enjoyed playing at the playground with the kids and enjoying the warm weather.

Baylee is so proud she can finally skip on the monkey bars.

Kami thought riding tandem bike with Uncle Dale was awesome, especially since she didnt have to peddle.

Deseret Ranch in Florida

So we finally had a couples trip (well almost..we did have Caleb) but downsizing to 1 child is a piece of cake.   We went with Amy and Troy to Florida to visit my parents on their mission.  It was really fun to just travel together, see the beautiful 500sq mile church cattle ranch in Florida, take an airboat ride, and see my parents in their element of beautiful country and serving the Lord.  Dad is an engineer over water resources, he is amazing at what he does and has proved to be a good asset over their.  Mom is busy doing all kinds of good things and all the ranch workers love her baked treats.  They are living in a cute itty bitty little ranch house.

Mom had to show us the big CAT she got to drive while they were clearing trees out of the pastures.

These amazing vines growing everywhere on the cypress trees.  Mom gives official tours on the ranch so she impressed us with her knowledge of the vegetation and ranch facts.
This is the shallow waters we started on with the air boat. Its amazing how the  boat just hovers.
we saw alligators ... ooh scary!  we saw lots of cool wildlife in and around the water.. several times the airboat skimmed right over the top of them.
This picture is too funny...you wouldn't know we were speeding along holding on for dear life.  The airboat is so loud you have to cover your ears.

This was the cool part.  The driver jumps off the boat and catches us a babygator to hold.  It took nerve to finally hold that thing.

Dad had baby duty, while the rest of us were on the 2 hr boat ride.  What a great papa!  He thought he was going to get a nice nap while they slept.  Instead he had his hands full with these 2 active critters.

We went to the beach.  It was a perfect day, the water was great to swim in, and we found lots of fun shells.

Great sign at the ranch rodeo grounds. I had to get a picture of it.

Halloween

Pumpkins and a few cute bugglies!

This was Lydia's year to discover the joys of trick or treating.  2 months later and she is still talking about how Baylee was a peacock, Kami was a ladybug, and Lydia was a bumblebee ... and she got candy.

Caleb's first pumkin.

I was impressed with Kambria, she did the whole pumpkin carving herself even cleaning it out.  When she gets her mind set on doing something herself she figures out away to do it.

Family Photo time!

These are some of my favorites of the family photos that Amy took for us.

My niece Elyza Randall turned 8

A special baptism day for Elyza.  We got to go to mesa for this special occasion and it was fun to see her be so excited and acting so grown up.   Baylee can hardly wait tell it is her turn.

Our 2 year old!

Lydia's favorite things are helping Dad, climbing up on things, playing in the yard, and of course snuggling her silky.

PALS!

Lydia and Caleb have become good pals.  Or should I say Lydia thinks Caleb is a "live" baby doll to play with.

Thank heaven Baylee is Seven!

Okay so I really am way behind on my blog, but life is crazy busy and so now I am trying to catch-up before the end of the year, so I can make a book of all my 2010 posts.

So...Baylee had a fun 7th birthday that she planned all her self.  An autumn carnival with friends and a cake she decorated herself.  She is so fun to do birthdays for because she is easy to please and so grateful.  I just love my sweet Baylee.  She is growing up so fast!   I remember when she was born, 7 yrs. ago. not an easy delivery but when she finally came c-section I was thrilled.   It was a special day,  my first child, and I was so excited to be a mom.  She was a talker early on and hasn't stopped since.
