Christmas Newsletter 2008

2008 Wasn’t It Great, liv’n in the town of Snowflake.
We are grateful for a great first year in Snowflake, AZ and for the new adventures it has brought. With the dusty roads and windy springtime, there has also been beautiful green summers and open skies. Unfortunately, we lost 2 dogs and a cat, but we still have one kitten and acquired a few new chicks (when Natalie got desperate for kid entertainment). We have also enjoyed our outdoor adventures in the mountains close by.

Our greatest event of the year … Lydia Nan ( born March 28,2008)
“Itty bitty Lydi” or “Lydi Bug” – truly is our tiny little cutie that can’t stop smiling * She is just a bundle of love * Her cries often get mistaken for the kitty’s meow * She likes to be in center of action and is trying to keep up with all the chatter.

Kambria May, 3
Found a love for animals, bike riding, and puzzles * Can always be found carrying around our kitty *Started Montessori preschool w/ Baylee and loves it * Discovered her natural talent for Dance * Has a zest for life and gets so excited about where she is going and what she is doing that she is not always aware of obstacles in her path, thus maintains a fair amount of bumps and bruises.

Baylee Kay, 5
Played soccer with Coach Dad * learned to play piano with Teacher Mom * Loves the land of make-believe * A fun big sister and friend * Learned to read and loves school * Has an amazing memory- nothing gets past those ears *Is moms best helper, especially at making lunches and unloading the dishwasher.

Natalie
Enjoyed her trip to Nauvoo & going in the Nauvoo temple * Had a few, much needed, girl outings * For fun exercise, took a hip-hop, jazz class * Loves being home with her family * Loves having her sister just down the road * Favorite new piece of furniture was a desk to organized all her post-it notes, and a kitchen table that had more than 2 chairs.

Dave
Is feeling a little outnumbered with 4 girls, but loves his daddy daughter time * Enjoying his work and grateful to see his ideas for art and books coming to pass* Found out he is good at making German pancakes and chopping wood and burning weeds * Made several yard improvements: garden, grass, basketball court, and shed * Coached soccer with an undefeated team * Made his debut as Joseph in the towns Joseph Technicolor Dreamcoat (he could have passed for Donny Osmand )

We wish you a very Merry Christmas from the Bowmans!

We are so grateful for all our friends and family!
